Chip earned a degree in accounting from Providence College and worked for his father’s manufacturing business for 20+ years in the areas of sales, purchasing, HR, manufacturing systems, accounting, finance and operations management, where he was also President of the 70 employee firm.
He serves as a board member of multiple Chambers in the Farmington Valley and was the West Hartford Chamber’s 2010–2011 Volunteer of the Year.
As member of the Avon Chapter of Business Network International (BNI), he served as Assistant Director, training individuals and other BNI chapters in networking techniques with courses and seminars.
Chip is currently a Senior Manager with SendOutCards and a business consultant that has helped numerous businesses in developing their Strategic Plans, Business Plans, Organization Charts and Operations Manuals. He conducts seminars, workshops and trainings in Business Planning, Strategic Planning, Financial Management for the Non-Financial Manager, and Networking. In addition, Chip facilitates monthly networking meetings for the Capital Region Business Exchange.
Chip has been a friend of Jolly Lux for several years and when he heard Jolly speak about GLO, he was immediately drawn in both by the cause and Jolly’s passion. Chip was Treasurer for the Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz in the early 2000’s, and is now Treasurer for GLO and looking forward to helping with their Business and Strategic Plans as well as operational strategies.
